We have been receiving hundreds of email viruses sent to our own addresses, claiming to be from "The Rebeccapaton Support Team". The email contains a link to this site, and has an attachment containing a virus.

We are concerned that others may also be getting these emails.

Any email claiming to be from "The Rebeccapaton Support Team" should be ignored. There is no "Rebeccapaton Support Team" except for me, and I haven't sent anything. Don't follow the instruction. Don't open the attachment. Delete everything. It's all bad.

These virus emails have all originated from an infected computer within the iprimus.com.au network. All addresses and references to rebeccapaton.net are forged. It is nothing to do with Bec or me.

We are working with iprimus to identify the source of the problem and fix it.

PLEASE, everybody, use an up-to-date antivirus program. I use and recommend AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition from GriSoft.
